No one likes to be alone for the holidays. That’s why many will hold off on a break up until after January 1. How many will have their hearts broken in that chilly first month of the year is difficult to project. But, online social dating site Zoosk.com polled 2,500 singles to come up with these stats that could make or break a date.
SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ — As the holidays grow near, Zoosk, the social dating network, recently surveyed more than 2,500 singles to gather their thoughts on the best – and the worst – of the holiday dating scene.
While Halloween may not have the reputation as the most romantic holiday, two-thirds of Canadian singles (66%) think it is a great time to meet new people according to a survey conducted by social dating network, Zoosk.com. Both men and women agree that they are more likely to be attracted to someone in costume than someone who is not dressed up. Not surprisingly, men prefer those in sexy costumes (71%), while most women appreciate a sense of humour and are attracted to funny costumes (51%).
To coincide with National Singles Week, September 19-25, 2011, Zoosk, one of the world’s most popular social dating communities, recently surveyed more than 4,500 of its members in the U.S. to gather their thoughts about living the single life.
